As a member of the Girls Who Code UNLV Student Chapter, I actively participate in events that promote diversity and inclusion in technology. This organization creates a supportive space for women and underrepresented groups in STEM to learn new coding skills, connect with industry professionals, and collaborate on projects. Through workshops, speaker events, and coding activities, I continue to build both my technical skills and my network while contributing to an encouraging community focused on closing the gender gap in tech.

As a selected participant in the UNLV Pipe-UP Program, I am part of a multi-year research program designed to support underrepresented students in STEM. Through this program, I receive hands-on research experience, professional development workshops, and personalized mentoring. I engage in research readiness training, STEM identity building, and collaborative research projects with faculty. The program has helped me strengthen my research skills, explore graduate school pathways, and present my work at undergraduate research symposiums.

Outside of school and research, I love to volunteer, especially in programs that help introduce young students to STEM. I enjoy participating in outreach events where I help teach kids about technology, coding, and engineering through fun, hands-on activities. I’m passionate about making STEM more approachable for the next generation, and I love being part of spaces that encourage curiosity and creativity in learning.
